The main event of the college football bowl game is scheduled to be played this Monday, January 2, 2012 as is commences the day's Rose Parade activities. As usual, the sure to be exciting 2012 Rose Bowl game is played at the Rose Stadium in Pasadena, California. This year's matchup of the badgers vs Ducks would be the 98th installment of the historic, yearly football event.

The event's organizer, Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, is dedicating the 2012 Rose Bowl in honor of all wounded military personnel, who will be tossing the game coin by their representative Grand Marshal J.R. Martinez. This year's games is themed "Just Imagine ...," has sold out over 64,500 tickets. The contest will be televised on ESPN with a radio broadcast on ESPN Radio and XM Satellite Radio, which is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM (PST) with kickoff at 2:10 PM (PST).
